Tuesday, October 1 – WOD for Mia Hsieh
As some of you may know our CFTC member, Lisa Hsieh’s daughter, Mia was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes almost a year ago. Mia is doing well in large part to her amazing family but, the past year has been a difficult and emotional one. With… the Boston Diabetes walk approaching on Oct 5th we are hosting a WOD in honor of Mia on Tuesday, October 1. All proceeds go to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) so that there might one day be a cure for juvenile diabetes. Let’s come together as a community at CFTC to show our support & help raise funds for JDRF. On Tuesday, please consider donating to this great cause. Put all funds into the box on top of the water fridge. At the end of the day, all money in the box will go to the JDRF in Mia’s honor. Please help us make this a successful event and show your support for Lisa and her daughter. To learn more visit http://www2.jdrf.org/goto/miamilitia
