Goings on at CFTC & in the Community

Saturday, October 26 – CrossFit Striking 9:00am – 10:30am
CF Striking combines MMA and self defense tactics with traditional CrossFit movements in one of the most exciting, intense and fun WODs you will do. Taught by Eric Cusson, this class will be an hour and a half and cost $20 to participate.

Saturday, October 26 – Halloween Bend’ahh  7:00pm – until it gets weird…
Come celebrate Halloween, CFTC style. We work hard, but we play hard too! Join us for a fun night, costumes strongly encouraged! BYOB and bring a snack to share.

Sunday, October 27 – CF2A Individual Competition
Come cheer on Mark Tiede & Leah Alexander as they represent CFTC at the CF2A Individual Competition. It is in Acton, MA begins at 9:00 and will run through mid-day. Come show your support for these amazing athletes! Click here for driving directions, WODs and more information.

Saturday – Sunday, November 9-10 – 2013 CF Southie Showdown
CF Southie is the last major competition of the season. Come cheer on Ashley Vellante, Leah Alexander & Lindsay Bulso as they compete against some of the best athletes in the region. It will be Saturday & Sunday from 9am – 5pm both days. Let’s get CFTC together to support these ladies! Click here for driving directions, WODs and standards.

Saturday, November 16 – 2nd Annual Fall Face Off
CFTC’s internal team throw down. This is a competition where 3 WODs will be completed throughout the day, all abilities and experience levels are encouraged to participate! It is $20 to register, please do so no later than November 1 at the front desk. We are also looking for judges and volunteers for this event! We will have an athlete meeting at 8:00am and expect to be at CFTC until 2:00pm, we will have a BBQ after all WODs are complete.

Saturday, November 23 – Barbells for Boobs
We will be completing “Grace” at our Barbells for Boobs event. Our goal is to raise $1,000 for this cause. If you plan on participating, we ask that you make a donation for $20 to our page. All proceeds go to helping to raise awareness for breast cancer and for proving mammograms for those in need. Click here to see the CFTC fundraising page and to become a team member.
