Summer Event Timeline
We have lots going on this summer, so here it is all timelined out for you guys!
Monday, June 16 – Summer Paleo Challenge begins! If you are interested in participating, please see Ashley for details and sign up at the front desk, it is $20 to participate. Please visit our Facebook group for updates, recipes and support throughout the challenge.
Saturday, June 21 – I Love Jerks Clinic. Do you dread overhead lifts? Need to brush up on your technique? This is a 2-hour clinic focusing on the push jerk and split jerk and breaking down the skill and technique behind each lift. We will be using our Coaches Eye to video your lifts and analyze your movements. Click here to register, it is $20 to participate. There will be no 9am class this day!
Sunday, June 29 – Summer In-House Partner Throw Down. This will be a partner competition with at least 3 WODs throughout the day, the top 5 men and womens teams will progress to a final event. We have changed this event to one division for men and women and the WODs will be friendly for everyone. If you haven’t already signed up, please do so no later than Thursday, June 19. If you do not have a partner, you may sign up as an individual and we will find you a partner. It is$35 per person to participate, you can sign up at the front desk. Plan on staying all day and after the WODs for a BBQ!
July 4th – We will have an abbreviated class schedule for 4th of July weekend, we will announce class times soon.
Saturday, July 12 – CF978 Beach Bum Classic Team Throw Down. CFTC will be sending 3 or 4 teams to this RX only competition in Leominster, MA. Come by to support CFTC!
Wednesday, July 16 – Summer Paleo Challenge ends! Make sure you come to do your benchmark WOD and get re-measured.
July 23 – July 28 – Coaches will be in California for the CrossFit Games, there will be an abbreviated schedule for most of this week. Thanks for your understanding and patience!
Saturday, August 2 – Join us at Incontro Upstairs at 7:00pm for our anniversary party! Come have some food and drinks to celebrate two years of CFTC, our community, family and friends!
Saturday, August 9 – 31 Heroes, 9:00am, this will be in place of the main WOD. All are welcome, donations to the cause is encouraged. The 31Heroes Project was conceived in response to the Extortion 17 helicopter crash in Afghanistan on August 6, 2011 killing 30 military service members, as well as one military working dog – Many of the fallen were Special Operators from the Navy SEAL community. Sunday, October 19 – CF2A Master’s Team Competition. This is a competition for everyone 40+ it is same-sex teams of 2 and they will have scaled and RX divisions. Coach Scott & Coach Mark are already signed up, and we are hoping to have a great masters showing at this fun competition. Click here for details.
