CrossFit Tri-County

Getting Started

READY FOR A PERSONAL CHALLENGE?

CrossFit has a stated goal of forging elite fitness (and therefore general physical preparedness), which it defines as “work capacity across broad time and modal domains.” Workouts are typically short—20 minutes or less—but intense. They combine movements such as sprinting, rowing, jumping rope, climbing rope, flipping tires, weightlifting, carrying heavy objects, and many bodyweight exercises. Equipment used includes barbells, dumbbells, gymnastics rings, pull-up bars, kettlebells, medicine balls, and boxes for box jumps. Daily workouts are always changing and challenging.

IT’S LIKE MAGIC….

An unexpected and yet very important byproduct of CrossFit is the strength of community created. The level of encouragement and support you’ll experience at CFTC is likely going to be the most fun, positive and unexpected aspect of your training. I have heard from more than one happy CFTC member when speaking of their results, “it’s like magic!”

TAKE A TEST DRIVE….

Everyone starts somewhere. One of the most important aspects of CrossFit is its scalability. When a workout is “scaled” it means movements, weights, and workout duration may have been adjusted for the specific needs and ability level of a member. Our coaches work with each individual and scale as needed. There is zero shame in “scaling” – 100% of our members have needed to scale workouts. It is necessary for optimal progress. Take the first step….

JOINING CFTC

Joining CrossFit Tri-County is simple:

1) Take a Free Intro Class

We offer a free intro class every week. The WOD” class allows one of our Certified coaches to provide an overview of what CrossFit is and take you on a tour of our awesome facility. After that, we’ll partner you with an athlete of equal fitness and run through a fun and friendly workout that anyone, at any fitness level will enjoy. Altogether, it’s a great class to test if CFTC is right for you.

2) On Ramp

If you enjoyed your intro WOD training session and are ready for more, the next step is to sign up for our On Ramp program (Experienced with CrossFit?  See Our Programs & Pricing) Our On Ramp-public is a one month, unlimited membership that requires additional participation in an introductory “training” class on the first three Saturdays of the month from 7:45am 9am. These three training classes provide education information as well as teach technical core movements (including Olympic lifting) often used in CrossFit, as well as range-of-motion requirements emphasizing safety. These classes will best prepare you for joining the CFTC group sessions. The On Ramp classes are in a small group format to allow new athletes to be comfortable with asking questions. Our new athletes will have our coaches undivided attention and participate in our F30D program – “First 30 Days” – which is designed to bring along a new athlete in a controlled and safe manner.
For those that cannot attend Saturday mornings required On Ramp “training” classes, can select the On Ramp-private which allows a new member to schedule private sessions with one of our coaches to best fit their schedule.

On Ramp-public $99

On Ramp-private $225 x3 classes

3) Sign Up

After On Ramp you have probably turned into another crazy “Crosssfitter”, so you’ll need to select a Membership Plan to join the CFTC community!! We welcome you aboard. Our Programs & Pricing
If you are a veteran Crossfit athlete looking for a better experience – or just new to the area, please contact us at info@crossfit-tricounty.com and we can get you right in to a Core Program without the need for On Ramp.
